27 February 2020
15:00 – 20:30
Venue: University of Tartu Delta Centre
Narva mnt 18, Tartu, Estonia

UT sTARTUp Lab is organizing an Idea Hackathon that starts a new semester of business ideas pre-incubation programme STARTERtartu. All students and recent graduates of all the schools are welcome to join the event to pitch their startup or project ideas or to join teams!

  • If you have an idea that could change the world – even a little bit – we will help you to develop and test the idea, find teammates, take first steps and bring your idea to life!
  • If you don’t have an idea then you can find the idea that interests you from the hackathon! Simply show up, listen to different pitches and join the team that you like the best!

You will find out how to recognize good ideas and what to do with an idea? You will also get initial pitching hints so that next time when you talk about your idea you know how to deliver the point in a short time.

21st-century world is facing numerous problems such as: population aging, health challenges, climate change. At the same time technologies are shaping our lives and impossible becomes possible faster than ever.

Come to Idea hackathon to find new ideas and solutions to the problems. Join STARTER programme and take 1st steps in turning them into reality! All students from all fields of study are welcome.

The most important thing is that you would have an interest in entrepreneurship! The idea doesn’t need to be a startup idea, it can be a project or NGO idea as well! Through STARTERtartu programme workshops you will learn how to pitch, develop your idea and how to turn the idea into reality!

This event is moderated by Harald Lepisk!
